• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone besides Doc trurbod one of these things?

Blower

If my :spyder2: go's fast enough to scare the h@!! out of me I'm happy.....and it does....

They do look sweet though...

I love how it adds pizzaz to its whole overall appearance. ;-)

If you ride like an Adult; Nanny never becomes an issue! :D :2thumbs:
You can upset the nanny riding hard. You CAN ride hard and be responsible.
Funny though how people have the misconception that these 106 hp trikes are Unrideable without nanny control.
It couldn't be further from the truth.....unless the rider is just a very inexperienced rider or just a flat out moron...

On a side note, I wonder how aggressive Polaris is going to be with their stability control system? ??...

I've got the RSV doner. Picked it up from a friend who low sided it at the track and is now scared to ride. It's got some real nice mods too.
Find me a cheap spyder to put it in and we will get it done. Or drop off your 13'! [emoji12]

Ahhhh when did this get acquired :D And think it will fit better in a all black 12 at least right now ,:p Not ready to chop mine up yet.

I've had it since last fall. I had an 08' GS to go with it that we thought had a blown motor. Come to find out it was just a starter so we fixed it and sold it off for some decent money. probably should have just kept it....
Maybe the 12' will get torn down if I find something else to ride....we'll see.
A lot of it comes more down to time as I'd rather be riding than wrenching.

Nice , I have no problem wrenching but not during riding season;)

Being Cynical Is Not My Style But...

The way this thread has morphed reminds me of an incident back in my two-wheelie days...

This old guy comes up to me and says "Want to watch me to do a burn-out on your bike? It'll be awesome!" Me..."Where's your bike?" Him... "Over there."

It's an easy search to learn the truth from DocDuru and DocHands about turboing a Spyder.

UNTRUE!! My nanny kicks in if I turn sharp and try to pull out into traffic. That is one of the most unsafe feelings I've ever had!
Why would you do that? ROLL the throttle on a bit easier, or change your approach...
Anybody can wake Nanny up, if they're ham-fisted... Try being smoother, and you'll get away with a whole lot more! nojoke

Bob, you obviously ride much easier than a lot of us do. We all know that if you ride "old man style" or highway touring that the nanny is of little concern. While i ride this way mostly 2 up or commuting, there are some good riding groups that make back road twisty riding or a fun track day a whole different sort of fun. Your choice to ride however works best for you, but to fully understand what we are talking about, you should ride with some more aggressive riders sometime.

Forget ever having a good track day fun on one of these without pulling fuses. Its nothing but frustration....

BRP really screwed the pooch IMHO.

I believe that the latest RS-S versions got a Nanny who is a bit more lenient; sounds as if you should trade up! :2thumbs:
