I thought this was a little fishy. The sticker on my Challenger was three grand more than the price of this complete package, and I have only around 400 hp, so I did some research. I went on Fords website and built me a Mustang with the 300A package. I don't believe I added anything, if I did it was minor. The total cost was 33,000 and change. So that puts the cost of Turbo and labor at $6,000.00. Don't know a thing about the cost of turbos, don't know if 6 grand is good, bad or indifferent.

Even with the extra 300 horses, I wouldn't trade my Challenger for a Mustang. Don't flame me you Mustang guys (I am a Ford guy), nothing personal, just not a fan of the new Mustangs.

That's high, if I remember right it was $19.95 in the early sixty's. Some of my buddies had there car painted there, they did not mask off much nor give it any kind of prep.

6 grand for the turbo, and the attendant drivetrain upgrades is probably just about right... nojoke

This setup is not using a turbo. They are using a roots style super charger like in the previous versions of the teminator (03, 04 cobra), 2nd. gen lightning, and GT 500s (2007-2014). But the roush version should be more efficient. Roush and Saleen had been installing super chargers for years, but the prices for these new version cars are quite a bit more expensive, but still great. Seeing this add makes me realize that it is a good thing that I am a married man, because if I was single, I would probably be picking out a color and options on a convertible. I guess you could say the wife is kind of like my better judgement.
