Last time I was at the ford dealer, I looked at a few stangs.....if my memory serves me right, I remember the lowest price was considerably more than the price listed!

I am not totally sold on the looks of the new mustang, but at that price, I would love to have a convertible. I have been a mustang fan, and owned one every since I purchased my first new car (1987 LX 5.0). Even though I still own one, I haven't kept up with things lately. I wonder how the independent rear will handle all that extra power? I had an 03 cobra convertible. They had the independant rear in 03 & 04. Those could not stand up to any engine mods. Mine was stock, with the exception of a K& N air filter and a magnaflow cat back. It only put out 430 rwhp and I was scared ****less if it would catch traction because the rear was so weak.
