Anybody have problems installing ISCI hand brake?

I started tonight installing the ISCI hand brake on my 2012 RT Limited. Everything seems to be straight forward and going OK except my parking brake cable pushes against the new "brake actuating clevis". This is the big aluminum clevis that goes onto the new long clevis pin you install. My parking brake cable is pretty tight against the inside edge of this clevis.

I think this could be an issue. Anybody else run into this? What did you do to resolve it? Here is a picture of what I'm talking about.

I had the brake cable lightly rubbing. I took off the clamp that holds the cable (shown here in top center of the photo) and elongated the bolt hole so I could push the clamp further toward the tank and away from the clevis. You can see my bolt is all the way at the edge of the clamp after I elongated the hole. That was enough to do it for me. If yours is rubbing hard, that may not be enough. Loosen the clamp and see if you can pull the cable to get more slack so it's away from the clevis. I suggested to ISCI that they should provide a longer clamp that would push the cable further in. I sent them photos and all but I guess they never did.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm suffering from a stinkin' head cold, so tomorrow when I feel better I'll take a look at doing that. I can make a longer clamp if I don't have one in my stash.

Why not call them. I had mine put on at the factory in MGM. Never had a problem with my 2011.
Darrell, Billy and the rest are really interested in the customer being satisfied.

Problem solved. I reshaped the clamps to force the cable to where it needed to be.

Now why didn't I think of that? Much easier than filing an elongated bolt hole. Some people are just creative.
