• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at adding a radio to my ride. Anybody add an after market radio system, looked at a couple. Just looking to see see what others have done.

Thanks

I have had " Shark " brand ( e-bay ... amazon ) units for my GS and RSS ..... They worked well ( 2 speaker versions - 650 watts ) .... The FM was terrible ( no real antennae ) but I only used them for MP-3 players. .... Considering today's technology I'd go with a Blue-tooth set-up.... the tiny speakers ( wafer thin ) have soom incredible sound..... Some helmets are actually made to provide easy fitment .... Good luck .... Mike

A lot of bluetooth headsets have FM radios integrated in the unit. The Sena 50r with JBL speakers for the helmet I picked up from Dave has built in station memory plus you can change station/volume all by voice control.

I just don't feel that need to share my music/talk station with everyone. I have one guy that goes buy my house on his harley being bold with blasting Barry Manilow, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin at about 4:30 am.

I listen to my News station on the way in to work in the morning to get live traffic and spotify or pandora on the way home with the added plus of taking/making phone calls if needed. It's a great overall sound solution.

:agree: The biggest problem I have is that just when I find some music that I like and start getting into it, the boss behind me shut me off because she wants to talk!!!:yikes::roflblack:

I guess I'm your wife in our couple, I usually turn on the intercom to point out to my wife stuff that I thought she would enjoy, I did find out the one thing she doesn't enjoy, me interrupting on the intercom!

i use these Bluetooth Earbuds $50. on Amazon. Simple and great sound. cellphone to earbuds. I have 2- 6in speakers and amplifier built into my F3 which i never use.
