• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Upgrade to get rid of the Squeaky Brakes?

The panic stops have to hard and frequent, enough to get the brakes hot. 50 to 20 mph should do it. If it doesn't do it, clean the rotors with brake cleaner or alcohol. If that doesn't do it, remove the pads, lay a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface and stroke the pads a few times on it. Then apply a quieting compound like Disc Brake Quiet on the backs, not the sheet metal piece that's clipped on, but the steel backer.

Big fan of EBC sintered copper - they tend to run quieter than most, can take a lot of punishment, and break in quick.

Numbers for the Ace ... same pads should also work on the Rally, but don't quote me on that, eh.

Often squeaky brake problems start with the accumulation of excessive brake pad dust. The least expensive and less laborious way, to begin with, is to pressure wash the calipers and the rotors. Don't push the spray nozzle up into the caliper, keep back a couple of feet or so. If that doesn't work then do the hard braking method and last but not least apply the Disc Brake Quiet as RICZ mentioned. Good luck

I have tried washing, hard braking and brake quiet…. Nothing seems to work… at some point i am going to just upgrade the brakes to ebc ones.
