• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any tips on oil change for 2012 SE5?

I have the manual and getting the oil change kit & locating required tools for changing oil, oil filter, hcm filter. It appears straightforward; however, they have the steps for the oil filter and hcm filter in separate sections, which seems to complicate the process. Does anyone have guidance or tips that are not in the manual or a step by step video? I found a few videos but they don't walk you through each step.
Thank you in advance.

just FYI...

I "attempted" to do mine (12 RTL SE5) about 2 weeks ago. Dealer did the 600, so this was 3k. I suggest putting each if the screws removed with each panel due to various sized screws.
I just COULD NOT remove the drain plug from the bottom!!! I even tried a breaker bar with an extension and it wouldn't budge... I have no idea what torque they used to put it on, but I couldn't do it....So I buttoned it back up and let the dealer handle it. I was pretty P.O.'d....
Also, I never saw in the video's or the operator's guide instructions to remove the plastic "Cage" in front of the oil filter (HCM I think). I didn't see how the cover can be removed without taking that off too. but never got that far...

I don't mean to discourage you, but letting you know about a hurdle I had. Good Luck!
