• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Suggestions to help with a project I am thinking about?

I have mentioned in a few other posts how much I like the new Circuit Yellow color. Since I have that "urge for new thing going on", I am considering a paint job on my 2010 RT-S.

I am torn between making everything that is now gloss black, the new Circuit Yellow--just like the picture on the BRP page.

OR

Making the bike a two tone circuit yellow/black. I currently favor this option. I would like it to look "cool" but would like to save a few $'s in the process also. So I was thinking "easily removable" panels and parts get painted.

E.G.: Frunk lid, fenders, removable side panels, saddle bag covers, and trunk lid. I don't have any access to those paint it programs--but it would be neat to see the RT-S doctored up the way I am thinking--if any of you are good at it.

I am open to any suggestions that others may have. I want the RT to look special.

Thank you in advance.

The yellow GS/RS bikes look pretty great; I've seen more than a bunch of them with some black added to the frunklid as an accent... :2thumbs:
Since this is my "Work" computer (I know... don't laugh!), I don't have any software that would allow me to tinker much with colors or designs...
Can anybody else throw some cool ideas up in here for him??

We've had a couple of threads in here about paint; I think that there are some suppliers out there now who can make it up for us... (I think!)

Thanks for those of you who added some opinion and encouragement. IMO, Paint color is not a problem, they can get specs if I wanted the exact color--but I am even okay with a Corvette or Camaro type yellow also.

I think I got it figured out as to what panels to paint and what to leave black. If I go through with it, I will post a picture of the finished project.

Once again--thanks to those who replied.

I know I am a day late, and most likely a buck short but I have an idea. Bombardier also makes Ski-Doo snowmobiles and they sometimes mix a little white in. They may also have a yellow you like. Hope it helps.
