There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Any suggestions on good Ear protection for lowering wind noise?

Searching for ear plugs/protection that do a good job of lowering wind noise at highway speeds yet still allow for good intercom and music reception. Any suggestion? I ride a 2023 Spyder RTL

What brand of helmet are you wearing as some are considerably quieter than others?

I take my hearing aids out because they won’t fit under the helmet but I can hear the comms just fine.

I’ve been wearing Shoei helmets for years now as they have one of the quieter helmets out there. I tried changing to another brand in years past and some of them are just so loud even someone as deaf as I am needed ear plugs. I always went back to Shoei. Not the cheapest option but one of the quieter solutions that I personally don’t need earplugs for.

I ride a 26 S2S so I have the same wind noise level as you probably do.

I've tried numerous earplugs, the Alpine ones worked great...but...I had a hard time getting them out. I even wrote the company to see if they had something with a longer pull pin, nope. The one time I tried them, I had to use a pair of tweezers to get them out. Fat fingers and small ears are a bad combo LOL.
Then I bought a set of custom fitted DB Blockers as I used them at work all the time and they were great, cost me $250...nope.
I ended up using the disposable foam ear plugs (cheapest out of everything I tried at 50 cents a pop) and they worked awesome, no wind noise. I use a 3/4 helmet, foam ear plugs and Shokz bone conducting earbuds. They fit under my helmet with no hot spots, I can hear tunes perfectly and control the volume with my phone via bluetooth.
My previous ride was a Voyager with a lot higher windshield (lot less wind noise) and I used the same foam plugs and a skid lid. I could hear the bike radio perfectly and better with the plugs in, go figure.

My wife and I have been carrying cotton balls in a sealable sandwich bag for years. Tear a little off and put in your ears. You'll soon find the correct amount to use that provides the wind noise protection but doesn't compromise the media and intercom you may have to turn up the volume a little to compensate.

Eargasm and Earpeace have the best plugs for motorcycling. Blocks the wind but lets speech and music in.
