• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any riding roads suggestions for Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge PKW

Left Hillsville and made it to Blowing Rock. We had a detour that took about an hour or so to get back onto the BRP. You folks have some really nice country around here. Loved seeing all the small farms. One thing I noticed in Virginia and in NC, is that a lot of your roads are posted at 55 mph. These roads back home would be 45 mph. It seems no matter what road you are on, they are curvy. Very nice. Bruce

This afternoon Sue and I slayed the Dragon. NC 28 from Bryson City was as good as the Dragon. It was fun. No one was pushing us and the road was in good shape considering the construction on it. Tomorrow we are going to the Wheels thru time museum. Head back home on Tuesday. Total mileage so far is 1680 miles. Bruce

Bruce say Hi to Sue for me .... also if you haven't picked up the FREE MTC map at a Welcome center ... do so And see where the RATTLER is and check it out it will be worth any small detour you need to make .... Mike

Sue and I went to the "Wheels thru Time" museum today. What a collection of history. We bought some raffle tickets on their bike give away. It would be nice to win. Bruce

We are heading back. Did the Skyline Drive again today. Here are some pics. Bruce

Rode it twice last week while at the BajaRon Rally. Once in the dry the other in the rain. Good ride. Got on NC32 on the way back and it was even better.

I was asked about NC32 in a private message, and I tried to send a couple of pics but couldn't - only allowed from a URL. So I will post them here and send a PM to say that I did.

They are from a map overlay of a short section of dashcam footage. The second shot shows a bigger area, with the point in question being the red dot.
