• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Any opinions on Monster Stage 2 vs Power Vision 3?

Dynojet lists the PV3 for the 2015 as discontinued, but when I enter my model info, they suggest the 2016-2019 model.

I'm trying to decide between this and the Monster Stage 2.
Do either of these modify anything to do with the VSC nanny settings? I'd love to have a bit more control over how the vehicle reacts to input.

I like PV3 for its logging and multi-tune ability, as well as the ability to tweak settings myself.
Cost is nearly the same for either.

Any input or opinions are welcome.

I see they also have a Power Vision 4. Its App based and you tune and log with your phone. Looks pretty neat.

I like my stage II because it's simple and hassle free. Install it and it's always there if and when you want it. Don't roll it on so fast if you don't want it. Your adjustment or input is all in the twist of the wrist.

Thanks. Glad you like it.

I may want to do more mods in the future, where the Power Vision would let me tune as necessary.
Just wondering about the whole package though.

I liked my PV3 and (2) custom tunes. Takes about 10 minutes of flash reading to get it back to the stock tune. The PV3 does all you could want in a tuner. You can adjust fuel tables/timing tables/Fuel trim/fan temps etc. etc. I guess I couldn't get rid of the safety card mode tho. :( The biggest advantage with the PV3 is that it tunes for your specific machine. Buy the PV3 from a reputable company. I can strongly recommend Fuel Moto USA. You'll get free lifetime map support, and you can send them data logs to make any tweaking you want. That said, Monster/Wick-It flash owners are also quite happy.

Thanks Troop,

I looked at Fuel Moto's site. They don't list the PV4 on their site, but I sent them a message to see if they plan to carry it.

It looks to be what I'm looking for.

I too am looking for a modification for my 2016 RSS. In regards to remapping, which brand provides more adjustability ? I have a Twin Kaos muffler and looking to add a Cat delete and K&N free flow air filter.

I ended up getting the PV4 from Fuel Moto.
I loaded a canned tune first, collected some data logs, and sent them in.
Fuel Moto sent me an initial custom tune, and I'll collect more logs when the weather warms up.
They also offer future tune support for any future mods I make.
I'm very pleased with the results so far. Throttle response is much improved, and it picked up a noticeable bit of acceleration, as well as raised rpm and top speed limits.

I have the PV3 and just use the tune it came with. What I like the most is the increased torque, especially pulling a trailer.

Watching. PV4 is probably coming up in my mod list soon. I assume that when I get this, I won't need or want my PedalBox anymore, and can sell it, right? Also, do you guys modify the airbox for the PV4 tunes?

The "canned" tunes are generally built using OEM exhaust and intake. When you're ready to do some data log tuning, that would be the time to modify the the airbox.
