• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ANY ONE SEEN MY SPYDER?

Farmboy

New member
Its been long enough that she may have shown up here with a new owner.
Be for spyderfest she would not start and on the way there she went into limp mode at 70 mph in a curve and lost steering...DPS...
One time to many she let me down so she did not come home with me.
I about got hung by my friends at the hotel when i pulled up on a 2013 Harley tri-glide.
Love my hot wheels but she did not love me back for the 2 years I owned her. The new owner who ever you my be, If you have any questions feel free to pm me.

I may end up with another spyder but not till BRP stops using Bosch electronics. I work on appliance's for a living and Bosch sucks more than any other brand out there. The spyder ROCKS! but the electronics need some work.

there's been no sign of Hot Wheels so far, but we'll remain vigilant!
How about some pics of your new ride???

Congrats on the new ride...looks awesome! Sorry to hear you felt let down by your Spyder. I know you had done a lot of work (mods) on the Spyder and even burned the midnight oil getting her ready to show off at Spyderfest.

Your new tri-glide is one puuuuur-ty machine. Best of luck to you. Keep active on this board and let us know what you do to make that Harley "yours".

can't blame ya at all. if mine broke down and left me stranded 2-3 times in 2 years, i'd be on something else. the new tri-glid does look sweet!

So...how does it compare as far as ride etc...not dependability as we know your thoughts on that subject. Give a review.

:agree: I'm pretty sure that we'd all love to hear what you think about it after logging some saddle-time...

And yes; the absolute BEST of luck with it! :2thumbs:

Defector! Really sorry you went to the dark side. Maybe you just got a possessed Spyder as many seem to have. Sorry you couldn't stick it out with the Spyder you had modded so much. As far as the Bosch parts used, I doubt that is where the spyder problems are. Most of us out here have little or no problems. As an early adopter of the Spyder, I went thru various DPS problems and replacements (DPS is not made by Bosch BTW). They finally got the DPS problems fixed with the gen 2 units. I highly doubt BRP will stop using Bosch parts, I'm not even sure any other manufacturer makes the same kind of VSS parts that Bosch does. Many of the Bosch VSS parts were adopted from use in various high end cars (Porsche for one).

Good luck with your Harvey Danielson.... ;-)

Great choice on the Tri-Glide, The first thing you will want to add is the inch and a quarter rear lift from
t GLIDE STUFF.com. Put it on my Tri.....

The thing I remember most about your RT was the Intake Air System made of PVC plumbing pipe and the row of beer bottles from the project...

Maybe the Triglide will be more receptive ...
