Can-Am is trying to make its new F3-S trike more appealing to those who feel like they could use a little more adrenaline and adds a new engine mode to the three-wheeler game by endowing the 2017 model year Can-Am Spyder F3-S with a Sport Mode.

The Sport Mode is said to allow more aggressive riders to experience a bit of rear wheel spin that could send the Can-Am into drifting. Apparently, the Sport Mode will disengage the traction control, yet retain a rather permissive stability control setting.

Well, since the title says 2017 RT rumor, I guess we can start one.
I heard that the 2017 RT will come with an option to have 4 wheels, and the 200 hp V4 engine sourced from the Yamaha Vmax:yes:!

Actually BRP has stated that all 2017 F3-S would get the sport mode, including the Daytona edition. Daytona edition is only paint and stripes.

Color choices for 2017 RT-S ( on BRP website) are: Orbital Blue, Champagne Metallic, Pearl White,

and for the RT-LTD's are the same colors as mentioned above.

I wish they would bring back the "Cognac", maybe in the future.


The "Champagne Metallic" blends in with the road, I want to be seen.( safety, visible), just saying.
