• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any negatives for the ISCI floorboards?

I'm getting ready to spring for a set & wondered if any tall riders had a set. I'm 6'4" w/34" inseam. I will have the Kwel tourpegs installed shortly - will that (alone) yield enough knee movement?

When I add the hand brake system, we're talking major $$, so I'm looking for a bit of support before I spring...

I have the floorboards, the parking brake, the footpegs and the passenger boards installed. The handbrake was shipped yesterday and should be here next week. I am 5' 11" but have short legs (30" inseam). As you stated, they are expensive, but in my opinion worth the money, not only for comfort but looks also. I weigh 250#'s and I can now get on and off the Spyder using the floorboards. They are that strong.
 
i have a negative ....there like $10 grand or something crazy like that ...arnt they? :roflblack:

First, disregard the uninformed, snide remarks regarding the ISCI floorboards. I have them and couldn't be happier. I chose them because I have a physical need for them. I'm 6'4" tall so they put me in a perfect position. They are designed and manufactured to a quality you'll be proud to own. They come with the mounts for their own highway pegs, so you may want to consider that before you get some other brand. If you have any questions, PM me

They look great, and ISCI does some terrific machining.

I have to fold myself a bit to ride the Spyder, and am concerned that my knees would be HIGHER with that set-up, making shifting and braking harder. The pic don't show a lowering of the foot position....

I don't want it to be like my windshield - spendy, "does the job", but really doesn't fit me...

Are you talking about the Kewl Metal pegs?

With regard to the ISCI floorboards, the bottom of the floorboards are 41/2 inches above the ground. This makes them almost 5 inches lower than the stock pegs. And, of course, there is all the floorboard area which goes from the stock muffler shroud to the front of the side pod.
And, like I said, the floorboard support member has the mounting holes for the ISCI highway pegs. In fact, there are two choices as to where to mount the pegs. Jeez...I sound like I work for them...just a happy "investor".

How tall is your windshield? Why do you say it doesn't "fit" you?

Not a complaint, but an observation, be careful of speed bumps in parking lots as this is the first place they hit when it bottoms out. I love these floorboards, really helps on the long rides.

Yeah, I'm aware of them down there. The things are so robust though, I swear, they'd shear off the speed bump! :thumbup:

I was ridng two up and was going only 1 mph but I still draged 1 bump out of six in a parking lot and it put a couple of small scrathes on the bottom side of the floor board. I will raise my spring setting up one more to max.
 
I installed the ISCI floorboards over the weekend and it was some of the best, straightforward installation instructions I've seen in awhile. As someone said before the quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I'm 6'1" w/ a 34" inseam and it really provides some great stability. I have a Corbin seat and the shift in my knees makes the seat even more comfortable.

They are a great sponsor for the site and would recommend them highly.:2thumbs:

Are you tlaking about the Kewl Metal Highway mounting brackets? I have them. Here a pic. My question is: Are they compatible with the ISCI floorboards?

That's too bad - I really like my Kwel peg mounts - allows me to use the Kury pegs that match my grips & are very strong! I will wait on the boards for compatibility- I don't like the looks of the ISCI pegs.

I will add the hand brake tho...

The windshield is 31.5", but really tapers back too far - makes me feel like I hit the bridge of my nose on the top of it, if I ever hit anything. Guess I'm just used to the LT's adjustable slab....
 
I wonder how difficult it would be to fab up a "receiver" for your Kury pegs that would mount in one or both of the ISCI hi-way mount locations (I think ISCI has two mount locations). I mean they are just holes - maybe threaded :dontknow:
