• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Missouri Spyders?

Thanks Teacherbob,

Will look into this pronto. I can't believe that I'm collecting "stuff" and don't even have nor ridden either a motorcycle or Spyder. Will get over to Reno's for that test drive soon. While there, I plan to evaluate if I will need the riser and mirror extensions..... I'm 6'2", and shrinking to 6'1" with age... But still pretty flexible. Heard alot of complaints about mirrors not out enough and wonder if the 1" riser will help posture.

We bought helmet ( :edit:) from a local dealer and could of saved money at Powersports4less.com. Bought the HJC AC-3... These are very lightweight, which is good, because my wife has had neck surgery and was worried about alot of weight and strain with heavier helmet. But will use Powersports for raingeear... PRICES HERE FOLKS ARE VERY, VERY GOOD!

Smilingene,

Thanks for the info about the windshield... Will probably order this as well. Have been reading how everyone can modify the "bends" at home. So modification won't be a problem after purchase.

Hope we all can ride/meet this fall when these Spyders are finally ours!

Not knocking other brands but, my customers tell me that Frog Toggs have a tendency to balloon up when the wind gets under them. if they work for you, that's great.

Teacherbob,

Home computer is unhooked due to remodel project, and I've been on vacation for a week, so not at my

work computer. Have you taken delivery yet?

No syder yet,as of 6/2 . Called the dealer late last week. He said they received a fax from Can-Am to the effect that production is on schedule. Hoping to get a call soon. I put on a big bike show here in Spring Hill every year in June. Really wanting to have the new ride for that event on June 14th.

I know of a few spyder riders in the metro/stl area. Don't know if they are looking for riding buddies or not but will direct them to this site.

Great, send them our way. Great place to talk Spyder :spyder: and if they feel comfortable with riding

buddies, this would be a great place to meet up with some.
