Any issues with Kewlmetal?????

I tried to order some parts yesterday and after not being able to get through on 2 of their 3 numbers I finally got someone who I think is the owner but he wouldn't take the order (HUH?). He said they have been having IP phone issues on their main number so sending an email with what I wanted to order along with shipping info and a phone number was the best way to go.

That was Monday around noon their time. It's now ~6PM Tuesday afternoon their time and no call, no return email, nothing.

Is this normal for them?

I e-mailed them about a part and they got right back with me. Maybe they too are having server problems. Hang in there they will contact you soon.

I've ordered from Kewlmetal several times and had very good success and they offer great custom support. I'm really supprised your having these issue's with them. I think its the owner has an account on the forums here and is usually really good at helping out. His Forum name is "Mad Matt" you might want to send him a PM and ask that he have someone in the sales group call you.

I have dealt with them on several items and they have been very prompt and helpful - even available one weekend to help with an install. I have been very pleased with their customer service. Their products have been top notch too - very well made. I think you must have hit something unusual. :dontknow:

Matt and the folks at Kewl Metals are and have always been great to deal with. They have helped me not just in the products they have but, even things they normally would not carry they know of who does. That goes far in my book.

I just got off the phone with them and it seems they are being somewhat computer challenged this week through no fault of their own. Got the order straight and it should go out tonight.

Good recovery I'm a happy camper now.

Glad they got things right with you. I know I have always had great dealings with the kind folks at Kewlmetal.

Kewlmetal has some great products and Matt is very helpful. That being said, they can be hard to reach. They are a small family run business.

I have done and will continue to do plenty of business with KM.

Some of us are just spoiled from NMN's above and beyond customer service. We forget that not all businesses walk on water.
