• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any iPad experts out there?

I have an iPad mini with retina, and I tried setting the (music) equalizer. I think there may be over 20 different settings. I tried them all and didn't notice any difference in the sound. Does anyone with an iPad have any luck with their equalizer setting?

This setting is best used when using quality headphones. So were you testing the equalizer with headphones on, and were they headphones with a good range (highs to lows)?

I was wearing a jaybird sports band on the ears headset. It cost $100 when new. So, the range is probably not as good as a pair of headphones that cost $250 or more.

I just checked out the equalizer on my iMac. I went into iTunes and selected a song, and then brought up the equalizer. I changed to different presets, and although the audio didn't seem to change, I could see the dB graph changing. So, there is probably nothing wrong with the iPad equalizer; it's the headset.

Thanks
