• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any info on Track Days for Spyders? (Northern CA)

I've been poking around to find out if there are track day opportunities for us, and I'm not finding anything. I called a provider I've used for MCs here in CA for Sonoma and Thunderhill and they don't allow us (dissimilar "width" and "lines" issues), and I looked on here and SRASacramento's website and don't see any references. You folks have any info on track days for "our kind"?

Only 1/4 mile stuff! I have done many track days in my life and I gotta say that a full day at the track muscling a Spyder around would be one helluva workout!! Get em! ;-)

Where in NorCal are ya BTW?

North edge of Elk Grove, and Fair Oaks, in Sac County.

To get to something other than straight County roads, I either head west 10 minutes to the Delta if in EG, or east about 5 minutes into the foothill if in FO.

I kinda doubt many tracks would allow Spyders due to the tip hazard. However I searched for tracks allowing sidecars and found some possibilities. If you do find a track be advised they will require a full leather suit or an AeroStich RoadCrafter (now replaced with later models). How to make a small fortune racing? Start with a large one.
