There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Any ideas on where to get an SE5 2008 paddle shifter?

Hello all! I am asking if anyone has or knows where I can get a paddle shifter lever for my 2008 SE5. I don't know what years have the same parts. I do not need the whole entire assembly like everyone wants to sell, just the paddle shifter which has the paddle part snapped off. Please let me know! Thank you for any information.

absolutely!!! You are a godsend!! Thank you so much!! Okay, I have purchased this part. I see that it is 3D printed. I have a 3D printer, but the design of this piece is beyond me, I am afraid. I thought about making the part, but I would like to have a piece and ride my Spyder in the next coming months, not pulling my hair out over a design to print it.
Thank you again for finding this!

 AWESOME.

I guess you did see this. But just in case.
Just make sure not to lose the ORIGINAL spring and button that fall out when you replace the original switch lever and use some lubricant that is safe for plastics.

yes, thank you Isopedella. I have carefully placed those pieces in a cup with the screws from the cover so I don't lose anything. I thought about lube, I have some clear silicone grease, is that good to use? Thanks for your information!

Depends on the make up of the grease I guess. Some will eat the plastic. :yikes:
I would google up and see if its plastic compatible.

FWIW I use this on that stuff.

well, it started not lucky when the paddle shifter broke! I looked and looked trying to find a part without having to buy that whole apparatus. Thought I was just going to have to buy one and use it for parts. Then I couldn't even find a used apparatus! I wasn't feeling too lucky by then. I thought, well, by chance, I will just ask on the forum and see if anyone knows of a Spyder boneyard, there has to be people that part them out. It wasn't even that long then until my luck changed! I am so thankful too. Mighty thankful for this forum and its wonderful helpful friends! Now, yes, I am feeling it was my lucky day!
