Any Fall color pics this year???

What a beautiful day! Temps on the Drive were 65-75, and sometimes changed 6 or 7 degrees just topping a ridge from one side to the other. Eastern face was the warmer... something you don't notice in a cage! About 12 degrees warmer on the valley floor. Also, I met a very nice couple from Ontario, Canada, who trailer their Black RT-S behind their motor home and ride locally when they get to where thery're going. Only other Spyder I saw in 500 miles!!

Check out the pictures of the bear! About 25-30' from the edge of the road, just grazing and getting ready to sleep. That was one of two I saw, the other one I couldn't get a picture of.

I shot around 15 min of Flip Video... I'm not happy with the mount; seems a little jumpy, but I'll work on that. I'll post a link to U-Tube when it's done uploading. About 2/3 into the video, I enter the one tunnel on the Skyline Drive, through a rock outcropping, and the only big group of bikes I saw all day, about two dozen, enter the other end! What a noise! I added a sound track instead of the recorded audio because, frankly, the Flip audio sucked!

PS- Hey John- Check out those new Seal Floorboards!
PPS- Didn't get to install the HMT Brake Light before the trip... floorboards were [much] more important. Hopefully, I'll get to it this week.

My wife and I were down visiting another spyderlover just outside of waynesboro va. My wife and I were up on the skyline on friday for a few hours then took some back roads back down to wayesnsboro. Missed you by two days.

Good to hear from you. I picked up the trailer shortly after the Lake Placid trip (apparently I tend to over pack the Spyder when I travel). I've been very happy with the trailer. It sure holds a lot of stuff....even for my travel needs...LOL).

Here's another photo from my morning's ride to Caledon, Ontario. Beautiful place to ride. Lots of bikers out today.

Trip to Montour Falls

Four of us went on a foliage trip today to Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Montour Falls. What a great day to be out in the sunshine. Here is a link to the few pics I took:

Battle Creek to Grand Ledge Color Tour 10/10/11

In yesterday's paper there was a color tour from Richland, MI, to Grand Ledge, MI. I extended it for our use, added a special destination in Grand Ledge, and threw in a return route, and off we rode. The weather in Michigan has been gorgeous, and unseasonably warm, for more than a week. Today was a bit cloudy in the morning, but the sun burned through by lunchtime. For an automotive color tour, the author chose great motorcycle roads! We had our picnic lunch at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, then walked along the ledges and the river. Couldn't have found a better way to spend the day! Here are some of the pics. There are more in my album.
