• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any advice or suggestions on mods to suit a Short Rider?

My wife is interested in riding my 2021 Spyder RTL, but she’s only 5 feet tall. I’ve already ordered floorboard risers and a brake pedal riser to help her reach the controls more comfortably. However, I’m not sure if that’ll be enough for her to sit back in the seat and still make a full turn of the handlebars safely and comfortably.

I’m considering adding HeliBars, but before I do, I’d love to hear from others. Is anyone here around 5’0” tall riding an RTL? Do you feel comfortable as-is, or did you need to make additional modifications to make it work for you?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm 5'1 my 2025 F3-T is perfect, the service department adjusted my handlebars down a bit when l bought my new baby a few weeks ago, I also use a sheep skin, it's perfect you'd be surprised how much height it gives you in the saddle, makes it's much more cushy too😊👍

I am 5'6" and I, after too much experimentation and expense, added the Helibars to my 2022 RTL in addition to the floorboard and brake pedal risers and I am very happy. I tried the short reach bars, I tried the riser and the short reach bars. Neither helped enough to be truly comfortable. Now I must add that I have a pretty messed up left arm from a car accident a dozen years ago which the Helibars also helps with. It's all the different adjustments that truly make them the most comfortable option. I also have a Utopia backrest.

Kind of thinking she will need the bars. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the reply, yes the F3 has a lot adjustments the RT does not have. Tried to sell the RT and get her an F3 but she wants to keep it.

I bought the 2 inch handlebar riser (don't remember vendor) for my 23 S2S. It works well. However, another 1-2 inches or so of reach would be optimal, but I can deal with it. BTW, I'm 5'5".
