• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any 2022 RTL/S2S floorboard alternatives?

Hey all,

So the wife and I just made the leap to a '22 Sea-To-Sky and are pretty darn pleased with it so far. My one big gripe is coming from 2 wheels it's very strange a feeling to not put my feet on the pavement when stopped. In addition, when I do get going, I keep kicking the mud guards because I subconsciously am sliding my feet forward looking for a peg.

The floorboards look like they're easy enough to remove but I can't find any sort of replacements (oem or aftermarket). I considered F3 pegs but being a different platform, confirmed with my local dealer they wouldn't fit.

Any ideas?

Additional riding time will cure this.... Lots folks used to miss the hand brake, but time mostly cured that also .... Mike

you eventually like it after more miles. the BIG floorboards also help in keeping rain splash off your feet.

Never been particularly fond of highway pegs, plus those boards take up a LOT of space.

Yes, it seemed like you wanted your feet on pegs instead of the floorboards so I thought the highway pegs would do that for you (give you the feel of pegs). With time you will get use to the floorboards, and the fact that the bike will hold you up when you come to a stop. It's all good but can take time to get use to.

No, that's fair. I appreciate the suggestion. I just really hoped someone would have a Golden ticket idea other than highway pegs and "just get used to it"

I am very doubtful that they would work, but have you looked into the pegs from the previous model RT? I had pegs on my 2014 RT. I took them off and replaced them with web boards. But there is a slight (very slight) possibility that they might work. Just something to research. Good luck.
