• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

any 2020 RT info?

I thought I read somewhere that Can Am was accepting "pre-orders" and granting the extra years' warranty, through Jan 31, 2020. Wouldn't that mean that there won't be any in showrooms before Feb.?

I ordered mine In mid September and wanted Petrol Blue, dealer just said he will have it in January 2020. Demo model he gets one in later in December. Oh and the manual for 2020 RT is on line. A lot easier to change oil and air filters via easy off side service panels .

NOTE - The 2020 Spyder RTL has the same running gear as the rest since 2014, battery and fuse boxes in same place. What has changed is the body plastics, running boards and trunks. So it's same power train they been developing since 2014 and the dash is very similar to the last couple years. Just my preference but I liked the old dash and controls better but I'll get used to new ones when I get mine January 2020.
Terry.

That is one of the colors I am also liking for 2020. The other is the red.

Yes 2020 is already out:yes:

I was told by my dealer this afternoon that they would not start building RT's until 1st part of January and they will be
a totally new bike. We can just hope for the best.

They have posted the teasers and there are some "official" BRP videos out and about. Surprised your dealer is not more on-board with the info. They went to a meeting a couple months ago that showed the new stuff.

My local can-am dealership will probably have the 2020 Spyders in there show room in Feb, or March.

For some floor time.

bikerbillone,

No, I am not getting one. I am going to wait until they work out the bugs. Who knows what BRP will offer in the future in the RT line up.

I like the red also but my two riding buddies ordered the red ones. So I'm going blue and I like it more now.
