• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

antifreeze level check

Hi, I have always had a hard time seeing the level of antifreeze in the reservoir. Well I checked it at night shining a flashlight in the wheel well and was able to see it clear as day (no pun intended). Had to play with the angle a bit but it worked. Thanks, Mike

Well done....

Nice trick to see the level. I have always found that pulling up and down on the handlebars gets the liquid moving and that is more visable and you can estimate pretty easy where it is. Will try the night time test...

When I had things apart to change the antifreeze and troubleshoot a leak, I taped a short strip of LED's to the overflow bottle, LEDs facing in and wired it to the lighting circuit. Now its easy to check whenever the ignition is on and can be seen night or day. If you leave the top piece of plastic off, its easy to see the upper half of the bottle with the Frunk lid open.
