There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it on the right side? Some have developed a cracked reservoir that theirs had leaked from.

I had the same thing. Luckily mine was just leaking at the only adjustable clamp that connects to the water pump. It can be seen if you take off the right (radiator) side access panel and is located up and towards the rear of the spyder.
Mine needed a half dozen turns yo tighten up fully and that seems to have solved it.
Hopefully that is all you are facing.

Hopefully its just a hose clamp. I did see where someone posted about a seal leak in the water pump, and posted as a recall on the 2012's. When these things run hot as they do everything has a way of expanding. With the cooler weather my guess would be a clamp being loose due to contraction. Just like a car, it's a good Idea to check them, if they're the adjustible type. Many of the spring type adjust themselves to the current conditions, but these have been noted to fail as well.

Yep. Just pull the right side panel and follow the coolant hoses back to the water pump. It has 1 hose coming in from the front of the bike and another going vertical out the top. The vertical hose is the one with the adjustable clamp. You can see it sort of up and towards the back of the right side hole basically right by the black plastic that guides the air out from the radiator fan.... on my phone otherwise I could post a pic of mine.Hopefully they put the clamp on so that you can see the adjustment nut.

Thanks much for the info and pic. Will check it out tmr. I'd been looking for the lead from the bottom but couldn't see where it was coming from. The pic points me in the right direction.
I finally found that sucker! Didn't realize it was behind the heat shield so when I removed that it was right there staring me in the face. Didn't take much to snug it and I won't know for a day or two if thats where the leak is coming from. Left the heat shield off for the winter to keep my feet warm and while I was at it, I installed a grill left over from the left side upgrade that BRP did awhile back.
Two days later and theres about a level tablespoon underneath! Had not ridden it so don't know if that makes it leak more or less. Would think more, but will wait till I can ride it again before tightening the screw anymore.

'12 RT here. Had same problem start last week, 9000 miles. Brought to dealer, they noticed it had been leaking but could not find an active leak. Went for a 2 hr. ride, got home no leak, checked later no leak, checked next morning noticed it had a small amount of anti-freeze around the hose with the hose clamp. Tightned the clamp, and have not had a problem since.
Thanks again for all of your suggestions. I took my bike to the shop on Monday and a waiting to here from them.
My husband could not find anything loose and said that there has to be an easier way to get into that area. Plus the cap for the anti-freeze was a bitch to get off and put back on.

My 2012 RT-S SE5 just started to leak as well
It is a beautiful warm day for November 30th and we were going to take the Sypder for a spin. Well, started it up and pulled her out of the barn and looked on the concrete and sure enough a nice bright puddle of green antifreeze on the ground!!!!!
Since I do not feel comfortable enough breaking the bike down and trying to find this issue myself---I guess I am going to have to take it to Len's in Springfield firs chance I get and let him and his pit crew look into it for me. I hope it is nothing too bad as it takes me 3 hours to get down to Pitbull Powersports.
I think while there though I will have them check shift linkages for tightness, heim joints adjust my elkas for me again, and check my rear air bag as the pump runs too much I think, and stuff like that.
I have 2460 miles on the bike now---this is the FIRST sign of any issues----Hope it isn't major!

With so little miles I wouldn't think the hose with the screw clamp, described in the above posts, would be your problem but its easy to check. Pull the right side panel off...the one like the oil panel...and with a flashlight look in to find the vertical water hose. It has a hose clamp that is screw tightened. See if it needs tightening. If you have Spyderpop block off plates you'll need to remove the top one.

I had a anti-freeze leak, dealer fix it. It was the water pump leaking, the dealer replaced it.( 2012 RT )

2012 RT-S SM5 Coolant leak
Mine had a drip seen from underneath the frame to right side splash panel . It started leaking when outside temp got cold last winter. The worm drive clamp was 11 in. Lb. and leaking. Tightened to Shop Manual Spec of 22 in. lb. and dried it off. No more leaks. Had to use a straight blade screwdriver adapter to my torque wrench as the hex socket would slip off the worm screw, since clearance is tight from the rounded edge hex screw head to the clamp band.
