• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Antennas on RT

You need to put on the JM cb ant and will work lot better then brp **** ants yes they are bit pricey but do work great

Walmart sells a shorty antenna for less than $10 (I think Ed got it for under $8 online)...radio comes in fine with it. We don't have a CB on our RT so I can't comment on that.

Not for long without an antenna--miles that is.

Well mine came off last weekend on a trip to WV, the am/fm radio works like B4, but the CB still sucks.:dontknow:

You will most likely find that a short distance from your transmitter you will find that the signal weakens sooner without an antenna --a road trip is in order to prove the theory. Some experience with transmissions in my past. Check into amped antenna with some gain ability--not much though.
