• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yes, it has. I've read about a dozen instances and I haven't even tried looking:doorag:

the fix is covered under warranty--including a new antenna. They are adding a lockwasher, and locktiting the bottom part of the screw.

Loctite anyone???
The fix calls for a stainless steel, internal star lockwasher, and Loctite on the last two threads (I think) only. They must be worried that the Loctite could insulate the antenna from the sytem too much.

the recall is posted on some other thread. I think loctite only on part is due to too much coverage and could make it too hard to remove. forget their wording...

RE: the locktite--Scotty has the right information---they are going to install a lockwasher and my dealer said blue locktite on the bottom thread only. My antenna is on backorder--but I picked up a spare from Wal-Mart that works on a temporary basis for about $9.00.
