• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone, i was returning home from a nice ride today when I reached down to pop up my center console (on my 2012 rt sm5) and the console wouldnt pop open. I tried a few times then called my dealer. They didnt know either! Weird. I could see that there is some type of spring catch there but I didnt want to mess with it--especially when its under warranty! I drove it into the garage and turned off ignition. I pushed down on console again and it opened. So has this happened to any of you? I didnt see adjustment--maybe needs lube--only have 1,000 K on it.

Safety ?

I don't wear gloves, so don't need one.

Is it a safety issue ? are you supposed to be able to open it while driving ? or are you only supposed to be able to open it once you have stopped ?
I know there are several adjustments that can't me made whilst driving, thought this may come under the same category.

if this is not the case

then it could be a vibration issue that is causing the latch from operating.

joust my thoughts.

Just a thought..!!

maybe it's a child proof door, doesn't open when rolling.....:roflblack: Lube it up should help...

Happened to me when I left it open and turned the handlebars to lock, which of course locked the "glove box". After turning the handlebars back and forth, left and right, the lock popped open and all was fine. Made sure not to do that again because it was about 10 minutes of sheer frustration. :banghead::banghead: Hope this helps.
