Why do companies make things so confusing.
This is about Castrol Power RS oil.
Last year I ordered a case of R4 4T 5W-40 from a guy that runs a cycle shop in my neighborhood. This year I ordered another case and picked it up last night. I get home and see the label says Racing 4T 5W-40.
My first thought is he ordered the wrong thing. I compare labels and it looked to me that it is the same stuff.
This morning I call Castrol to verify it is indeed the same. They came off all confused and wondered where I came up with the R4 4T as the lady told me Castrol never had an oil by that name. :yikes: I told her I have a couple of bottles in my garage, thanked her and hung up the phone in disbelief.
I'm sure it is the same and they just changed their labeling but it doesn't inspire confidence that customer service at Castrol has a clue.
