• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was down in Ft. Myers this afternoon and decided to swing by WestCoast Motorsports, much to my surprise their store was closed. I remembered that they were going to move next door to Ft. Myers Harley so I headed over there and while they had a Kawasaki flag flying no sign was up for the dealership. So I called their number and the recording says they have closed operations and are referring any service questions to the HD dealership.

It's a shame because these folks were decent. I bought 3 bikes off them over the past 5 years including the Spyder. When I became disenchanted with the Spyder they worked with me to get out from under it. Their service department was good also.

OKINUTs EP3 is / was a :spyder:member on this forum. He worked at that dealership and repaired my Spyder this winter when my oil sensor died. Maybe he has some info.:dontknow:

I can understand - completely. Just discovered that my BRP dealer has laid off two salesmen, the head of the service department, and one other employee. Doesn't do much for my confidence in getting work done there.:dontknow:

Was speaking to a very large east coast HD dealer yesterday.
He let one salesmen go out of three and cut their mechanics back from seven to three. I m afraid this recovery (so called) will be a slow turnaround:gaah:

Our local Spyder dealer (Benton, AR) is also gone as of a week ago. Luckily we have several more just not in my town. :(
