• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I visited Bert's Mega Mall in Azusa, CA last Sunday to see the three Slingshots they had on the floor. My photos are not very good. But, the last one is quite interesting!

First 3 of 4:

Now, number 4, very interesting:

They must be coming from Russia by land and need to be hand assembled by BERT'S!!!

Looks like the old dealer markup thing to me. Get it anyway you can, if you can. We will see how many they sell with $2K freight and $2K handling added to them.

Shades of the PT Cruiser when they first were offered for sale.

I think that my language would stray a bit further toward the obscene side of the dictionary...

...Just like those charges!

WHY ????????

:wrong: :gaah:
:hun:..............I'm confused Bob ......You are a STAUNCH supporter of BRP Can-Am dealers doing the EXACT same thing !!!!!...........So why is this wrong for a Polaris dealer to do this ???????.........................................Mike

Cashing in...!!

It's new, exciting, wild, in high demand why not shoot for the moon. Now they can make you a deal and knock off a chunck and make you feel good...but I agree..:wrong: :banghead:

NOT .....BRP

Over 4 grand for shipping and prep?:hun:
BRP does nothing even close to that!
:agree:...........BRP, actually doesn't do either one Bob.......................These are totally made up charges by some DEALERS ...............................Mike

I brought mine in Petersburg, WV

At Tri County Polaris for $23,999 and a WV docking fee of about $40, I don't remember the exact amount. Very nice people to deal with.
I went to register it today and found that it is classified as an Autocycle in VA and only requires a normal drivers license to operate it and a Spyder requires a M, M2 or M3 license. I love the Slingshot but it is in addition to and not replacing the Spyder.
