• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Seat Question.......

After test driving an RT vs an F-3 a few days ago, and experiencing hip pain on both, I went to the local dealer to spend some time sitting on each in the showroom today to try to analyze what's causing my discomfort.

I found that, although I'm pretty short (5'7" with a 29" inseam), the RT doesn't provide enough room for my legs to stretch forward. I only got more comfortable on it if I sat the back of my butt on the front of the rider's seat. This allowed my legs to stretch out just a bit - enough to relieve the pressure on my hips.

On the F-3, I was immediately more comfortable because my legs were stretched out more (something like being in a recliner). The pegs were set at the #3 position, but I wondered whether the #4 position (farther forward) would be even more comfortable for me.

So, my question is: Are there after-market or optional seats available for the RT that allow the butt to push farther back than the standard seat allows?

Or am I simply better off focusing on the F-3 line of Spyders? If so, are there optional floor boards for the F-3 to replace the pegs?

Thanks!

I can only answer for the RT. BRP's Comfort Seat will give you 2" more room, Passenger looses those 2"s. Bruce

:agree:
Although it's actually cheaper to add a set of highway pegs to an RT, than it is to buy the comfort seat.
