another riser question

can i use 4.5'' easyrisers with the brp 1'' riser? some people say yes but it is a lot more work,re- routing cables and such, some say no, some say remove the brp riser first, then install the easys. i just read an old thread that said there is 6 to 8 inches of cable/wire slack from the factory. i just want to ''up and back'' my bars. everyone please chime in. thanks

I put a 5" HeliBar riser on my 09 RS. The shop did it and said it was tight but there was just enough cable w/o the 1" BRP raiser. It brought my handle bars 2" up and 5" to the rear. Perfect for me.

We have the Kewl Metal fully adjustable bars, set way up, way back. No cable issues. Ok, is tight, but fully functional. There is a limit to how far back you can go, because the clutch reservoir really likes to be horizontal.

I also have the Kewlmetal risers and I have the 1inch riser, tight but no problem. I have the SE so it might be a problem with the SM[clutch cable]
