• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Park Brake Problem

2011 RT with 1500 miles. Went to the Eye Doctor yesterday and had to park on a slight incline. Since I ride a manual trans I normally just leave it in first gear and do not set the park brake but since it was on an incline I tried to no avail to set the park brake. When you push the rocker switch you get nothing, no sound or reaction. I've checked fuse and it is good. My question is, when the cable jumps off the front pulley. can you still hear the park brake motor? The windshield still operates so I assume the WPB module is working. All help appreciated.

Park Brake

OK, thanks. Next question, anyone had a bad rocker switch? It still works in the frunk mode.

If your windshield motor still works it could be the switch or more likely the socket the switch sets in could be loose.

Finally got some time to check it out and you were absolutely right. The socket the switch plugs into was loose. It appears it is only held on from friction from the pins. Reseated switch and everything works just fine. Thanks for the help.
