• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On my 2014 RT the light went on today at 194 miles. I carry fuel and wanted to see how far I could go. At 230 I stopped for fuel and it took 6.84 gallons. I think our tanks hold more than 6.8 gallons. I am getting 9 miles per gallon more on my 2014 vs my 2011.

With an advertosed 6.9 gallon capacity ; I think that you were stretching it just about as far, as you could!

I ride with a couple HD owners and it was always embarrassing during our road trips to have to remind them to stop for gas at 130 miles on my 2010rt. They were never looking till 180 miles or more. Now I have the 2014. I am still on my very first fill up and already have 170 on it. Nice to see BRP listens to their customers.

I just came back last weekend from a trip up and over the Cascade Mountains pulling my loaded trailer. I as getting over 31 mpg on 6 tank fulls which is amazing since my 2011 was only getting 25. My best run so far is 34 mpg but again, that is some mountain terrain. I have no doubt I will see higher MPG in the future, just wish we could find some real gas again instead of the diluted crap they sell now.

Y'all are so lucky! I have to get fuel so often on long trips, while everyone else is 3/4 of a tank left.

Here is what I have been getting from Day one.

I've been very disappointed with the fuel consumption on my 2012RT limited. Today I only got 26 mph. When I first got it I was getting 35-38.

Not bad! I've been getting 31-32 miles per gallon on my 2013 around town and short trips. On the highway today at higher speeds 70-80 most of the way and the mileage dropped to 29-30. This is with a 6" cannon and Y pipe installed. The stock setup when I had it was not as good only like 28-30 average.:doorag:
