• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK I am working on becoming a one device traveler (well add Ipad so 2). Right now before my Iphone ownership I would take the following: laptop, cell phone, GPS, Kindle, XM, Spot Tracker, Electric toothbrush...and everyone of those required their own cords and chargers!!! OK so you get the picture...along comes nifty Iphone...getting everything figured out but now wondering...

? Is there an app that will work like my Spot Tracker for following my progress when I'm out on road? If so then the only other device to replace with Iphone is my electric toothbrush!!!

All opinions and input appreciated...if you haven't figured out: This being chairside cause of slick roads is forcing brain cells to overact/react!!!!:yikes:

Google maps on my iPhone shows me where I am with a big blue pin. Assuming the 'locator' option is turned on for the App.

I use "Device Locator" for the Iphone and it works! Tracks you and displays it on a web page. I think Doc or Forest used it in their triangle last summer. It's available in the Iphone App store.

You need a satellite transmitter; the whole piont is to use the tracker when there is no cell phone signal. Re: Iphone4S- there are in this forum allot of users; my opinion:

If the person doing the tracking has an iphone you can use a free app called "Find a Friend" Me and my wife use it and it works very well. At anytime either iphone can see where the other phone is located. You also can temporarly diable it if for some reason you didn't want them to see where you're at.
