• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another great toy run

Had a beautiful day for a toy run/fund raiser today. Started out a little chilly 40f and breezy, but warmed to about 55f by the end of the day. And our hearts were warmed even more. 575 bikes, trykes and a home made tryke, from several clubs; Blue Knights, Guardian Brotherhood, H.O.G clubs, Ghost Riders and others. We raised over $12,000 in donations and gift cards. The local Harley Dealer, New Bern HD, who started this ride 19 years ago, donated another $5,000. Plus there was a truck load of toys. All for the Baptist Kennedy Childrens Home in Kinston NC. We took all of the money and toys direct to the Home. Got to meet some of the residents. What a wonderful feeling to see those kids. We had the only Spyder, but after meeting a member of the Blue Knights, we probably won't be the only one next year. He has a Pearl White 2011 RT SE5 LTD on order. :2thumbs: I might even be a little envious. welcome

Toy runs where you get to meet the kids is a very humbling experience.

Its a great way to kick off the holiday season and makes you so grateful for what you have.

I love Toy runs. :2thumbs:

We were at the SEMA show this year when the local Toys for Tots run was so we missed it here.

So on Friday I went to Walmart and got 2 new bikes they had on Black Friday sale and went to our local Bike Rescue and donated them for the underprivelidged kids they give these bikes to.

After seeing the tough times some people are having, it really makes you stop and think and be thankful for all we have. It also makes me feel a bit good knowing we can help bring a smile to some kids face this Christmas morning.
