• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another fender support

Right side back fender support broke at the weld. When it broke it pushed the brake line metal clip on the support to ride up against the wheel rim and cutting a gouge in it. Duct taped the two pieces together and headed home. The duct tape took most of the vibration out of it till I got home. Took my son less than hour to weld it back together. I have one weld on the Spyder that I don't have to worry about. I wonder how many people have had a similar problem ??:yikes:

fender support

DSC_01090001.JPGDSC_01080001.JPGI had the rear fender brackets break on both sides in 2009, after trip to Alaska. Blamed it on the Industries 7 GIVI side bag mounting kit hitting on top of fender brackets. Replaced with new brackets.
I have had the right hand fender support break twice. First time was in Sturgis 2009 and again this summer 2012. Put a cut off bolt in center of tubes and welded it back together. :doorag:visited states 2011.jpgVisitedProvincesMap.jpg

Both of mine broke at the weld at different times. Had them replaced under warranty and have not had any issues since.
