Well, I went on a 400 km loop ryde today, in the wind, with my wife to see what effect the new sway bar would have. Heading into the wind it was obvious when we hit the first open field that the bike was being assaulted from the wind, but not like the old days. Even in the highest of gusts, the Spyder was easily controllable with one hand, regardless of the wind direction. Yes fuel economy sucks with all the wind trying to push this huge sail around, but I got home after the ryde and had no soreness in the shoulder which was always an issue in the wind. Now if I could just find something to fix my sciatic pain in the leg, life would be great. Oh by the way, did I mention the wind?
Hope everybody had a safe and happy ryde today, without the wind.
