• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"The moment you start wearing safety equipment is the moment you've got doubt and when you've got doubt, that's when things can go wrong," UK climber James Kington said, speaking to the BBC last year.
"It completely changes the way you look at things. You see everything as a possibility rather than walls restricting you."

Looks to me like James Klington needs to reassess his statement above. Wu wasn’t wearing safety equipment and things went “wrong” anyway......if he had been wearing safety equipment at least he would probably still be around looking to find another way to fund his mother’s medical treatment and his wedding. But then, these guys must surely have a different mindset to most of us .

I kind of liked the statement saying, "Play stupid games, and you win stupid prizes". Sort of puts things in perspective. At least he went his way.

Sad that he felt compelled to take those risks to fund his mother's medical treatment. Assuming he wasn't just a thrill-xeeker.
