Got this code on my SE today, P0826 shop manual says it a bad switch or wire, has anyone else had this happen, was it the switch or wire.

Down shifting is OK, just when I up shift it some times don't take and I have to hit again, that's when I get a massage, check Trans. But it will shift on the second or third try.:dontknow:

Paddle shifter issue.Very familiar with it. Have had it for a few weeks now. Sometimes you have to upshift or downshift, depending on which gear "takes".
It doesn't always happen but it's usually doing it at least once a day.
Carlo talked me into taking it in before SitS. So it is going back to the shop next Wed. or Thurs.:gaah:

Got a call from my service Dept. today. It seems I need a new shift switch.
They ordered it today and said they should get it by Tuesday of next week.
