• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I got my BoatU.S. Magazine today. There is an ad for SeaDoo that has a brake lever on the left handle. Found a video on how it works. Will stop a PWC about 100 feet shorter than one that doesn't have the brake feature. Cool!
 
I've seen the ads for it; how does it actually work?? Are they reversing thrust or dropping some sort of a plate to increase drag? :dontknow:

The Sea-Doo PWC we focus on in our discussion feature cutting edge technology to add a level of safety for the rider while giving them more control for the fun. It actually works great. They had the GTX model, if memory is good enough, in Chicago and we got to play with it.
 
The brake system works amazingly well. It simply flips the steering nozzle so it's facing forward instead of backward..... And the craft does a 'stoppie' like a crotch rocket. I rode 3 different models in Chicago and was amazed at how well it worked. The 260HP turbo running 70 also didn't hurt things......... :-)

Oh.... And the one with the suspension was amazingly smooth!
