• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another battery tender question.

I would recommend a smart charger by CTEK. A lot more money but conditions the batteries during the charge cycle.

It also has a mode to charge AGM batteries like Optima, Maxxima and Odysses ...

Battery Minder

I have been using the Battery Minder http://www.batteryminders.com/ for years on my batteries. There not only charge but also Desulfactor the battery plates. I've had batteries on my Motorhome last over 7 years. That's good for a motorhome since the batteries take a lot of abuse : charge and drain a lot. I just replaced a battery on my Polaris 4-wheeler that was close to 10 years old before it went bad. Always kept the Battery minder on it when not in use.

I've got the waterproof version of Deltran's Battery Tender Junior, and it's worked great... :thumbup:

But the one from CTEK looks very interesting... ;)
 
Ctek is an oem supplier to high end cars who cannot fix their parasitic loss from all the computers and accessories which fail to go into sleep mode regularly.

Lamonster used the Xtreme Battery charger/desulfator in his video.
They can be wired however you want.
I recommend disconnecting it before starting the Spyder.
