• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our annual Spyder ride is a great place to meet new friends, enojoy the beautiful scenery, have some wonderful food and find out a bit of history. It's been called a "Spyder Family Reunion".

Well I am in full planning mode :) I have picked out our afternoon adventure and may have our lunch venue worked out as well. Trying to get a jump on. So as soon as I get my ideas set in stone I will start posting.

Connie, my son-in-law has changed his/their wedding date from 9/17 to 10/1:sour:... As a result, Debbie and I will not be able to make it this year, I regretfully request you take our names off of the attendance list.
 
Door Prizes SAD DAY

Well ladies and gentleman I have some bad news :( I have contacted 30 vendors and NO ONE I repeat NO ONE has even returned a call or email. So at this point we have No meaning Zero Door Prizes. We have been very fortunate in the past to have wonderful sponsors for our event but I guess our luck ran out. Please remember there is no registration fees of any kind for this event so any cost associated has come out of my pocket. So I am hoping the lack of door prizes will not keep you away. Or if you feel froggy and have an "IN" with some vendors who might like to donate some any help is appreciated.

For me and I'm sure many others this ride is all about good friends, good times, good rides. The door prizes are OK but not a reason for someone to attend. This is the only event that is all about the Spyder Riders and having a good time and seeing some neat things, seeing old friends and making new friends. You have really shown us some cool stuff in the past and taken us to some cool places and dang I'm going to be at my sisters wedding and miss this year so take some photos!

You've Got To Be Disappointed

I know that I shouldn't be one to throw my 2 cents in here, because the timing of this ride never quite works out for us. I am hoping that with a month to go, both the attendance picks up AND some vendors come thru for you. I do not understand the steep decline in both of these factors. I know of very few MC/Trike events that do not charge some sort of registration fee.

Route Set !

Our route has been set for Saturday ! We will be doing about 150/160 miles. We have three little field trips/sites to see on our route as well as a great lunch stop in metropolis, Il......Be sure to bring your cameras !
