• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Animated lights

Yeah..!!

if your talking about the modulated lights there are many who have on all models. The F3 should be no different. As to lega, you might check with your dmv on that. :thumbup:

Those look pretty cool. I love the idea that they flicker in peripheral vision. In the install example, they put them on a bike with no front fender screw. I am sure there is a way to get it on your Spyder.

I had the Skene lights on both the front and rear of my BMW and loved them! Thought they were great! I loved the conspicuity flicker. They flicker at a much higher rate than the typical modulated headlight (which are legal everywhere, I think).

Do you plan to put them on your Spyder?

Hadn't given it a thought, to be honest. I think the Photon Blasters in the front may integrate fairly easily, probably picking up power from the front fender lights. The P3 lights in the back would be a little more difficult, just because the natural mounting location would be on either side of the license plate, but would want to splice into the brake light power - just longer wires to run. I did like how the controller for the P3's in the back caused the brake lights to flash three times before coming on solid, in addition to the running conspicuity flicker. These pictures don't do them justice, but will give you an idea of how they mounted. Instead of the P3's, I did have the Wiredux brake/blinker lights installed at Spyderfest. http://www.wiredux.com/spyder-f3-rear-brake-and-blinker-kit/ Up front, I'd probably go for a set of Clearwater LEDs, so as to give me the option to throw a lot of light down range, plus serve as really good DRLs. That probably won't happen for a while - my credit card needs to cool off a bit after Spyderfest!

The lights do look good on the BMW. I did get an answer regarding the mounting. Looks like it is possible...

"You should be able to mount the Photon Blaster LED modules under a grill slat using a T1 bracket and a short 5mm bolt and nut.

Best regards;

Jerry Skene"
