• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

And the adventure starts tomorrow

well got the call and I pick up my 2011 RTSE5 (black) tomorrow afternoon after school. New to riding been 35 years since on a bike not counting the safety course and it just really set in my first ride will be for over an hour to get back home... and what did the weather lady say this morning...40% chance of rain tomorrow....now if i can get it and get back home in time will not have to take side trip into Euless....well I guess it is go big or not go at all...LOL....by the way no other options because of all the things going on with end of school and such....roll them dice...:2thumbs::yikes:

:congrats: on your new toy. Can't comment on the rain manners. I've never ridden my Spyders in the rain, and never will, unless I have no choice.

Not about the bike, I hate riding in the rain....

:congrats::2thumbs:. I also hate to ride in the rain, but hey, I live in Oregon. What can I say! Enjoy your new adventure.

Ride in comfort,

John

The RTs do a pretty good job of shoveling the weather to the sides... I've gotten home in some light rain without even putting on my rainsuit and have been dry enough for no complaints... The back of my shoulders DID catch some weaher, but my boots and pants were dry!
Now go enjoy that spyder!! :2thumbs:

:congrats:

I hope the weather holds off for your ryde home and you have a great trip picking up your new RT.

Congrats. Your life will never be the same!!! Trust me,,, I'm finding out now. I'm not complaining though!!:2thumbs:

You might get wet, But you won't fall over.
I ride my two wheeler in the rain but i don't like to.
When i ride the Spyder in the rain it doesn't faze me at all.

:congrats: on the new :spyder2:. If you end up in the rain on the maiden voyage--consider it as a christining of the :spyder2:

The :spyder2: does handle well in rain--soooooooo much better than my two-wheeler. Do stay out of puddles that are deeper--:spyder2: will hydroplane. Nanny took care of my two incidents--but be aware and safe.
