• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Analog speedometer is 10mph faster than digital

2017 RTL. Analog speedometer shows 10mph faster then digital. Only drops to 10mph when stopped. Digital matches the GPS speed so mileage would be correct. Any suggestions for fix?

The needle may be touching the gauge face or the lens. Not allowing it to zero out. The lens needs to come off and the needle adjusted so that it is free to hit the zero pin.

If there are any scratches on the lens. Good time to replace with new one.

This happened to my 2015 RTS. The first 350 miles. Dealer tried to reset with buds. No luck. They replaced my whole cluster. Of course I was starting back at 0 miles after install. Dealer can't put odometer to current miles. It will be warranty if you still have one. If not it will be pricey. You also need buds after install to program new cluster.

I had a situation once at a fuel stop where I just hit the kill switch, refueled ans took off and noticed digital and analog tachs were not in sync. Drove 50 or so miles and at a drink stop shut the bike completely off, removed key and let things sit for a while. Started bike again and both tachs were back in sync; problem has not recurred.
