• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Analog Or Digital Speedometer

I've been using the analog Tach and Digital speedo. Because they are much easier for my eyes to see. By the way y'all have never really lived. Until you hyperextend your knee and the engine fires ramming your right knee cap into the chrome air cleaner starting a 58 Harley. I use to really love the advance/retard spark adjustment and kick starters. (NOT)

I remember the times when motorcycles didn't have a tachometer or digital speedometers. It didn't matter, we shifted by sound, and looked at the speedo to get an "idea" of how fast we "might" be going. In today's technology, we are all so tuned to want to be "exact", we have become paranoid over everything. Come on, Spyder riders, ride it like you stole it, fix it IF it breaks!

I still shift by ear. But as my hearing gets worse I get a louder exhaust. I seem to see a pattern here. :shemademe_smilie:
