• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Per Lamont:

"I got to see my scar for the first time today and no wonder I’m hurting. This thing is huge. To knarly to post in public.
I got some good deep sleep for a few hours and my kidneys are working very well but the other end not so good (tmi). I just did my lung exercises as that seems to be the only thing I’m really struggling with. I don’t want pneumonia or a collapsed lung. A guy coded just now and that woke me up. I must say that most of the liver transplant patients have been here for two weeks or more and not all of them are doing near as well as I am. I contribute that directly to your prayers and God‘s intervention.
We had a good prayer time with the chaplain on this floor and it was very encouraging for both of us. He is a pastor from Nigeria doing Gods work here in St. Louis.
I would ask that you would not tag my wife in this post as it’s blowing up her phone and she really needs her rest. We feel all your support and prayers and thank you from the bottom of our heart ❤️ Love you guys"

He looks great! Especially after going through what they did. Tom :spyder:

Latest update.

"Our beloved leader Lamonster is doing great so far after his liver transplant surgery in St. Louis on Thursday, 5/6. No need to tag him or text him - we both need rest for the long road ahead. We thank you all for your prayers from all over the world. They are felt and they are working. ❤️
Lady Lamonster"

Joan recently posted that they are waiting for a final test, and that Lamont may even be “released” as early as tomorrow :2thumbs:

Lamont was released from the hospital this afternoon ...little more than 4 days after liver transplant surgery. A true miracle in my book! From death's door in 2018 when the liver cancer was discovered, to a transplant and a whole new life ahead. Power of prayer, Lamont's own resolve to recover, and Joan's firm guidance have seen him through to this point. May his miraculous recovery continue without issue.

All the best ......... Ann

Lamont Bryden aka Lamonster……released

Thanks to modern medicine.

There are those that believe firmly in the power of prayer. God does answer prayer...but He says one of three things. Yes, maybe, and sometimes no. He has his reasons. And who is to say that HE does not guide the hand of the Physicians and Surgeons at times.

I am a believer. I respect others beliefs, but this thread is talking about Lamont and his miraculous recovery.

Latest on Lamont. His body is showing signs of rejecting the liver. Let's hope they get the meds squared away fast. Keep praying everyone.
