• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

An Old Friend Looked Me Up.

How about SpyderAnn01?

I never progressed past being "Seated in the West", and I've never been a Leader...

I saw him a few months ago at the Vintage Bike show at the Gilmore Car Museuem. Was nice to catch up a bit.

Good guy....

We were lucky enough to get to visit with Scotty in 2016 at Al’s (IGetAround) house in Michigan. Scotty was one of the first Spyder owners I met.

And sorry Bob but I’m too busy riding to be class president.

See, I told you so :)

Tell you what, we should get Lamonster to have a rally. Then we can name you King, and SpyderAnn01 Queen of the rally (like in a prom). Then the two of you can lead the formal run.

How many of you remember Scotty?

The Motorbike Professor sent me a n email earlier in the week, and we've spent some time catching up.
For those of you who joined after he left: Scotty was always the "Go-To" Guy; with all of the answers about our Spyders. His answers were always put in easy to understand terms, and had just the right amount of humor too!
He still rides his 2011 RT, but Nancy is reluctantly selling her GS. His Barn is completed, and is full of his really cool old bikes and nicely modified four wheeled conveyances.
He's taking on some bike restoration projects, and is even tackling some new designs for bridge building!

I just thought you would like to know that he and Nancy are both doing just fine... :D

I'm glad he's staying in touch, even it it's indirectly. I do miss his posts here. He's so knowledgeable and his posts were full of good technical info. I sorta felt unworthy to respond to his posts. But I always appreciated his posting.

That is for sharing Bob, Scooty was definitely a wealth of knowledge here and is very much missed! Ah the good old days!:doorag:

Scotty...

Hey Bob,
Glad to hear you've spoken with Scotty.
I remember him from the early days of this forum.
I also met and talked with him at Lamont's BBQs, a long time also.
Regards & best wishes to you and Cathy
